It is the evening of a beautiful summer day, on the terrace, that patients / coaches / guide / doc and neuro met for the first time.
After presentations, the project's philosophy was detailed. Everyone has been asking the questions that haunted him! Everyone was very motivated and we set to meet again August 1 for a first preparatory hike.

On the occasion of the World MS Day, last week, Lory Schneider (www.empowermentthroughadventure.com), a person with MS since 10 years, came to Belgium to make a presentation.
She made the ascent of the highest peaks on each continent including Mount Everest in 2009! She conveys the same message as ours : Yes, We can !

The wellknown Belgian extreme adventurer, Alain Hubert, will be our Frenchspeaking ambassador. Yes, you read correctly, one whose determination, courage and mental strength have conquered the poles will be our icon in this ascent.

Well. It is in the scenery of this roof of the world that I would make a dream come true : take patients on a climb, to get them to excel physically and mentally from the perspective that they are reclaiming their body and spirit and that they convey the image of a fulfilling life in the disease.
I thank all participants from near and far in this project and in particular those who had faith in him from the beginning and never doubt.
We’ll make it to the top !
